SNOWY OWL - Travel Blanket
I'm so excited for "SNOWY OWL" to finally be back in the shop, and I'm sure it will be a big hit with everyone like it was before. Snowy Owl has been one of the MOST POPULAR Faux-furs that we have ever carried in the shop. I think people love this one because it's perfect for warm & cool weather. After all, the fabric is medium-weight. (one of my favorite scarves.) SNOWY OWL will be perfect for cuddling and lounging in the cool evenings on the deck or lakeside. It is beautifully designed with subtle color variations, making it a photo-realistic looking faux-fur. (Plus, it feels real.) When Minky is designed with fibers facing different directions, and subtle colors and spots, it will create a realistic, luxurious soft fur.
The Travel Blanket
This is a 45" x 60" travel blanket built for people who refuse to sacrifice comfort on the go.
- Front & Back: The SNOWY OWL has a gray/black or caramel/cream spotted pattern with an off-white background from our Minky in-house collection, exceptionally plush with an embossed texture and a satisfying 10mm pile height at 530g/linear yard.
- Folded: Compacts into a 12" x 18" carry pillow with a toggle closure and an attached handle/strap for versatile carrying options.
This isn't a blanket you'll stuff in a bag and forget. It's a conversation piece.
What's Included
- 45" x 60" Minky travel blanket
- Integrated storage pillow (attached)
- Lobster clasps on both ends of the carrying strap and one to close the pocket.
- The Minky handle/strap attaches to a pair of D-rings.
How to Fold & Store
(It's easier than it looks — here's the step-by-step:)
- Lay it flat. Spread the blanket on a floor or table.
- Tuck the pocket. Push the storage pocket inward, just as you'd push a jacket pocket into the lining.
- Fold in thirds. Bring the long edges toward the center, using the pocket as your guide; edges will slightly overlap in the middle.
- Fold in half. Fold the length in half, then fold it in half again.
- Open the pocket. Slide your hand inside the pocket from the open end.
- Grab and pull. Reach through and grab the top edge of the folded blanket; pull it back through the pocket, turning it right-side out (think: pulling a pillow into a pillowcase, in reverse).
- Stuff and smooth. Fold and tuck the remaining blanket into the pocket; flatten and shape as desired.
- Secure. Fasten the toggle into the D-ring to keep it closed; the pocket can hold small extras like earbuds, sunglasses, or a snack.
- To unfold. Reverse the steps; tuck the pocket and handle back inside the blanket, and fasten the toggle for a clean, flat look.
