Every holiday season deserves a hat as magical as the moment itself. Our Santa Hats are crafted with a silky-smooth Solid Color Minky body and trimmed with our long, luxurious ANGORA Minky in Polar Bear white, giving each hat an irresistibly soft, decadent feel. Hand-cut and stitched with care right here in Salt Lake City, each hat is made one at a time, and we release only a LIMITED number each year to preserve the quality and craftsmanship behind every hat. Measuring the "body" of the hat, it's approximately 26" (Large) or 23" (Small), they’re perfect for parties, photos, caroling—or even snow shoveling. Bringing festive magic wherever you go.

DESIGN NOTE:  Santa hats are traditionally long, designed to hang down your back or drape over your shoulder, while Elf hats are shorter, cone-shaped, and may fold or stand upright like Buddy the Elf’s.   (Measurements may vary by an inch or two since each hat is cut, sewn, and assembled by hand, one at a time.)

What you'll be getting...  Each Santa Hat is made with real Minky fabric that is 100% polyester. The trim and pom-pom feature our ANGORA collection Minky in the color Polar Bear, for an exceptionally thick and luxurious feel. The body of the hat is crafted from our Solid Color Minky, with shorter fibers that create a silky-smooth finish.

**How to Measure Your Head:** Use a soft, flexible measuring tape, typically used for sewing. Stiff, metal, or wooden ones won’t work. Wrap it around your head at the usual point where you wear a fitted cap or stocking cap. If your measurement is 23 inches or less, choose the Small. If it’s between 23 1/2 inches and 26 inches, the Large will fit. This material has some stretch to accommodate most head sizes. If you usually wear a U.S. hat size 7 or 8, the Large Santa Hat should fit. For sizes 5 1/2 to 6 7/8, the Small should work. Remember, the Santa Hat has a little stretch.

**Measuring Tape Assembly:** Print the page on 8.5” x 11” paper at 100%. Do not change the “Print Scale." Cut out the four strips along the light gray dotted lines (including the blue tabs). Glue or tape the dark blue tab (on the left) underneath the light blue tab (on the right). Carefully align the blue tabs to ensure the "one-inch” increments continue seamlessly (placing the #1 tab on the back side of the first strip, with the blue tabs and solid black lines aligned). Attach the strips in sequential order.

*Cleaning Instructions for the Holiday Hats:*

You will receive detailed cleaning instructions with your purchase. They can be washed in ice-cold water with white vinegar and "SHOUT - Color Catcher" dye-trapping sheets. You may also dry clean the dark-colored, white-trim holiday Santa hats. This includes the following colors: Santa Red, Mistletoe Green, Blue Spruce, Midnight on Christmas (navy), and Gingerbread. Generally, Minky fabric is color-fast and won’t bleed, even after multiple washes. However, when you place a dark color next to white fabric, it’s possible that the dark may bleed onto the light. The good news is that you can follow normal "Blankets by Brian Cleaning" instructions (CLICK HERE) for all other light-colored holiday hats. This includes the black hat with dark trim, as they won't bleed on each other. Light-colored holiday hats can be washed in cold water with one tablespoon of simple soap or just vinegar. Do not use heat! Do not use fabric softeners! Tumble dry on no-heat or air dry. Avoid dryer sheets with fabric softeners; instead, use wool balls.
