Chinchilla 2.0 - Blankets

Chinchilla 2.0 is the very best reboot, or re-invention, of one my favorite collections. The original Chinchilla was incredibly soft and plush, but somehow improved everything on this fabric. We have captured the smooth, silky feeling of silk, the density of a weighted blanket, and the look of a real fur product.

*What is the "ALL-SEASON" Blanket option?

Are you someone that always tends to run hot, loves to wear shorts in a snowstorm, or just doesn't like a heavy/weighted blanket? Then this option is for you! Normally when you order a blanket from any "Collection", you'll get that fabric on the Front & Back. Selecting the "All-Season" option changes the fabric on the back side to a lighter, velvet-soft Minky fabric. Choose this option & we’ll put the [COLLECTION] fabric on the Front and replace the back side with a color coordinated "Solid Color Minky". The Solid Color Minky is thinner & silky soft but makes the blanket lighter. Don’t worry, it’s just as soft as the [COLLECTION] fabric & the fibers are still densely packed together. About 30% of our clients like this option to make their blanket a bit lighter, without sacrificing any softness. *See pictures for more details.

What you'll be getting... CHINCHILLA 2.0 is a warm and very thick Minky fabric. This fabric has a plush 20mm pile height and 640 gram weight per liner yard, perfect to keep warm no matter how cold it gets. I would consider this a thick and heavy fabric. After choosing the color and size, decide whether you want any of the DIVINE upgrades, like the Foot Pocket or the Quilting Lock-Stitch. (see pictures)

I love my Blanket by Brian! It’s so soft and calming. The foot pocket is my favorite part, it warms my cold feet! Definitely recommend his blankets!

I have met a lot of people in my life, but no one with the talents and personality as Brian. He bends over backward to make his customers happy. His blankets are the best made and you will never be disappointed. I buy Blankets, Pillows, baby quilts, travel blankets, or anything else I need.

I bought one for my 10-year-old son and one for me. My son is Autistic and usually needs something to fidget with that will keeps his hands busy. The texture of this blanket is like nothing I have ever seen or felt. The fuzzy part is indescribable, so soft, dense, and silky, it blew me away. But then, there is a delightful surprise. When you push your fingertips down through the plush minky part, it hits the backing where the groves are, you'll feel a whole different thing. It feels like a somewhat stiff, but still soft, backing. My son is obsessed with his new blanket, in a good way, and so am I. He has taken it several places, and it helps him stay calm. He is completely focused on the blanket and its different textures. I highly recommend getting the Divine Fabric upgrade, I did it and it feels like a weighted blanket. I'm sure that it would still be great without it, but I am loving how heavy it feels with. Thank you.
